PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing sintered ore by which explosive fracture of a granule granulated mainly by using a powdery raw material is prevented even if being subjected to rapid heating upon sintering in a selective granulation line provided separately from the conventional granulation line, thereby inhibition of permeability in a sintering machine resulting in productivity reduction can be prevented.SOLUTION: The method for producing sintered ore is provided in which a first granule obtained by mixing and granulating a blended raw material comprising an iron ore raw material, an auxiliary raw material and fuel is mixed with a second granule obtained by adding a binder to one or more kinds selected from powder iron ore and dust, and a carbonaceous material-containing raw material and granulating them, and these granules are charged to the sintering machine and are sintered. In the method, the porosity and strength of the second granule satisfy either condition of (a) porosity is ≥33% and also strength lies in the range of ≥4 Kg/cm2 or (b) porosity is ≥28% and also strength lies in the range of ≥20 Kg/cm2. |
