PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless base station, a wireless terminal, a wireless communication system, and a wireless communication method, which are free from degrading communication performance, even if the wireless terminal moves fast.SOLUTION: A receiving unit, receptacle 38 can switch between receiving processing of a downlink signal output from a plurality of antennas 36 and 37 by a communication system of a MIMO and receiving processing thereof by the other communication system. A channel estimation unit 54 finds a channel estimated value representing a channel status based on comparison between a pilot signal included in the downlink signal received by the receiving unit, receptacle and a known signal. A communication system decision unit 58 decides by which one of the communication system of the MIMO and the other communication system the wireless base station should send the downlink signal to the wireless terminal, based on a time change of the channel estimated value. |
