PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination control device that can implement convenience of 3-path 4-path wiring by using, for example, an external switch of general specification such as a switch for 3-path 4-path wiring or the like without any special dedicated remote controller, any slave unit, etc., and can perform a mutual operation with an external signal.SOLUTION: An illumination control device 10 controls illumination equipment 120. The illumination control device 10 has a first input terminal L, a second input terminal N, a detection terminal S, a detection circuit 20 and a power supplier 30. The detection terminal S is connected to another terminal 112 of an AC power source through an external switch. The detection circuit 20 is connected to the detection terminal S. The detection circuit 20 compares the voltage of the first input terminal L or the voltage of the second input terminal N with the voltage of the detection terminal S. The power supplier 30 is connected to the first input terminal L and the second input terminal N.
