A second command set recognized by a second host system where the physical address spaces do not continue to each other is a command shown by B. A command set recognized by a storage system is a command set shown by A including the first command set shown by C and the second command set shown by B. Namely, the command sets recognized by the storage system are two kinds of command sets consisting of the first command set recognized by the first host system and the second command set recognized by the second host system. This invention can be applied to the storage system.
