The device i.e. motor bearing (10), has a bearing element (12) connected with a bearing part by an inner thread (14). A screw (16) stays in effective connection with the inner thread. The inner thread and the screw stay in effective connection with each other and moved in a connecting direction (18). The bearing element is connected with an adapter element (20) by the inner thread and the screw. The bearing element is connected with the bearing part by the adapter element in another connecting direction (22) running transverse to the former connecting direction.
