<p>PURPOSE: An air-conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to improve user satisfaction by controlling the operations of units according to the amount of power consumed by the units. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner comprises a plurality of units, a remote controller(RC), and a demand controller. The remote controller monitors and controls the operations of the units, wherein the set temperature of the units are changed to the desired temperature corresponding to the target operation factor in case of controlling the power consumption of the units. The demand controller provides the target operation factor to the remote controller.</p> |
