PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoelectric conversion element high in photoelectric conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: This organic photoelectric conversion element has a first electrode, a second electrode, and an active layer located between the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein the active layer includes a conjugate polymer compound, and the first electrode is provided by a process of bringing a coupling agent into contact with at least a surface of the electrode on the active layer side, and thereafter applying a lyophilic treatment to the surface. The active layer preferably includes a polymer compound and a fullerene derivative. The coupling agent preferably has a group for generating a hydroxyl group by reacting with water. |
