PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellently safe external preparation for the skin, having excellent effects for ameliorating the texture, drabness, pimple or the like of the skin, peculiar to a chemical peeling agent, facilitating the washing out while having proper viscosity not allowing drooping, facilitating the coating, and imparting low irritation.SOLUTION: The external preparation for the skin includes (a) 1.0-7.0 mass% of one or more kinds selected from α-hydroxy acids, (b) 0.1-3.0 mass% of a cross-linked N, N-dimethylacrylamide-sodium-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonate copolymer, (c) 0.1-3.0 mass% of an association-type thickener such as a (polyethylene glycol-240/decyltetradeceth-20/hexamethylene diisocyanate) copolymer, and has a pH of 2.0-5.0. |
