PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key pad that prevents contact failures due to a motion signal generated by having a key button make contact with a print circuit board.SOLUTION: For the keys pad including a pattern sheet 50 for operation of keys and pattern areas 60 that are provided on the pattern sheet 50 and change an amount of light passing through a light guide pad 10, a light source 20 is provided so that a light comes into the light guide pad 10; and a sensor 30 that senses the amount of light passing through the light guide pad 10. The keys operated by a difference of the light amounts coming into the sensor 30 that depends on the depressed positions on the pattern sheet 50 are detected. |
