PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch device suppressing labor hours required for branch construction work.SOLUTION: This branch device for branching fluid flowing in the flow passage of a fluid pipe in an uninterrupted flowing state includes: a branch opening 3 for branching the fluid flowing in the flow passage; a plug 9 retained in a closing position where the branch opening 3 is closed from the inside in the unbranched state of the fluid pipe; and a movement operating section reciprocating the plug 9 between the closing position and a retracting position where the branch opening 3 is not closed from the inside by the plug 9. Accordingly, in the unbranched state of the fluid pipe, there is no more requirement to especially provide a sealing means attached to the branch opening 3 from the outside in order to close a fluid flow from the branch opening 3, and the plug 9 is used as a substitute. In addition, the fluid is branched in the uninterrupted flowing state without performing operation for attaching a special sluice valve to the fluid pipe and operation for opening/closing the sluice valve as performed in the past. |
