PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine speed control method for suppressing wear of an engine rotation transmission belt.SOLUTION: A machine controller 16 starts an engine at the engine speed (e.g., 300 rpm) equal to or lower than the minimum engine speed (e.g., 800 rpm) to be set by an accelerator dial 18, regardless of a target engine speed set by the acceleration dial 18, and controls the engine speed to gradually increase to the target engine speed set by the accelerator dial 18, after a predetermined time T (e.g., 1 second) from engine start-up. |
