PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing structure for a vehicular airbag, which correctly positions the installation position of a cover for covering an airbag to a desired vehicle part even with the dimensional tolerance or the assembly tolerance of components.SOLUTION: The vehicular airbag includes a cover 3 which covers at least part of a boss 2 of a steering wheel 1, and is floating-supported by the steering wheel in a press-operating manner with a coil spring 21, a mounting bracket 6 mounted on and fixed to the mounting part 4 of the boss, and a housing 7 which is mounted on and fixed to the mounting bracket, and is formed with an opening edge 7a to be opened toward the cover to store an airbag 8 and an inflator 9 attached to the airbag. The housing has a freely deformable flexibility according to the dimension between the mounting bracket and the cover. |
