A seal device for a propeller shaft of a marine vessel enabling easy replacement of the annular seals in a stern tube-sealing device comprises the annular seals so disposed as to be fitted to respective seal liners attached to the propeller shaft, annular hollow seal cases attached coaxially to the propeller shaft, and preliminary annular seals installed in the respective annular hollow seal cases coaxially to the propeller shaft.
