The invention relates to a curette comprising a shaft-like handle with an annular blade extending from one end. In order to ensure reliable protection from injuries after use, according to the invention, a protective element is connected to the handle, wherein said element can be pivoted perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the handle and is spaced apart from the blade in a first detent position forming a usage position, while covering at least some sections of the blade in a second detent position, after use of the curette. |
