PURPOSE: A device and a method of inserting information into a fast information channel are provided to easily add additional information to a fast information channel without changing a service. CONSTITUTION: A decoding unit(410) extracts the first fast information channel data from a transmission frame. An FIC modifier(420) performs re-multiplexing based on information to which data fields will be inserted for at least one block. The FIC modifier reconfigures the blocks to generate the second FIC data. An encoding unit(430) replaces the first FIC data with the second FIC data. |
