PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element having a higher aperture ratio, compared with the case with a second light-emitting layer so as to be brought into contact with at least one of the surfaces facing neither cathode nor anode, in a first light-emitting layer.SOLUTION: The light-emitting element includes the anode 71, the cathode 73 paired with the anode 71, the first light-emitting layer R1, which emits light in a region between the cathode 73 and the anode 71 by electric field in the region, and a second light-emitting layer R2, which is in contact with at least one of the surfaces facing neither cathode 73 nor anode 71 in the first light-emitting layer R1, and absorbs a light of a wavelength emitted from the first light-emitting layer R1, and thereby a light is emitted. |
