PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot dip metal coated steel plate for vehicle fuel tank which can enhance corrosion resistance even when being subjected to deep drawing.SOLUTION: The hot dip metal coated steel plate for vehicle fuel tank is composed of: a steel plate; a base plating layer which is formed on the surface of the steel plate and contains, by mass, ≥15% and ≤40% Ni and the balance Fe; and a molten plating layer which is formed on the base plating layer and contains ≥4% and ≤8.8% Zn and the balance Sn. The total length of plating crack defects in the molten plating layer formed during the draw bead working at the thickness reduction ratio of ≤30% is ≤0.5 mm per 10 mm in the drawing direction of the draw bead working.
