PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the reduction in cost of generation of a paraphrase generation rule.SOLUTION: An analysis unit 32 analyzes an input sentence, an example before paraphrasing, and an example after paraphrasing to generate an analyzed input sentence, an analyzed example before paraphrasing, and an analyzed example after paraphrasing. A similar example selection unit 33 calculates the degree of similarity between the analyzed input sentence and the analyzed example before paraphrasing. The similar example selection unit 33 selects the analyzed example before paraphrasing and the analyzed example after paraphrasing as a pair of analyzed similar examples on the basis of the calculated degree of similarity. A difference extraction unit 34 extracts a difference between the analyzed example before paraphrasing and the analyzed example after paraphrasing, which are selected as the pair of analyzed similar examples. A paraphrase generation unit 35 applies the difference extracted by the difference extraction unit 34 to the analyzed input sentence, to generate a paraphrased sentence in which the input sentence is paraphrased. An output unit 36 outputs the paraphrased sentence of the input sentence. |
