PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of preventing the completion of received data processing from being significantly delayed, by shifting a first processing unit from a sleep state to a non-sleep state at a suitable timing.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a main CPU and a sub-CPU. In the main CPU, a state is shifted between the sleep state and the non-sleep state. The sub-CPU detects a traffic amount of a network (S174) when the main CPU is at the sleep state, and shifts the main CPU 14 from the sleep state to the non-sleep state when the traffic amount is larger than a threshold (YES in S176). |
