摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular particle beam accelerator which accelerates a particle bunch to a sufficient speed in a short time while suppressing a voltage value and current value low in operating an acceleration device.SOLUTION: The circular particle beam accelerator includes: N (N is an integer.) units of induction type acceleration devices 10 which are respectively and dispersively arranged in respective straight sections 9 of an acceleration passage 3 to shorten a particle travelling distance, suppress dissipation of particle proceeding directions by space charges of a particle group, and confine and accelerate the particle bunch in the acceleration passage 3; and M (M is an integer satisfying M≤N.) units of drive devices which respectively generate a high-frequency drive voltage or pulse voltage of one wavelength in a specified period, and drive the respective induction type acceleration devices 10 in an idividual or group unit. The respective drive devices are operated cooperatively so that the respective induction type acceleration devices 10 confine and accelerate the particle bunching.
