PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing toner having efficient productivity while performing removal of organic solvent and suppressing the occurrence of deposition and crude powder in an apparatus caused upon the heating accompanied by the removal solvent.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing electrostatic charge image developing toner includes: a step of emulsifying and dispersing an organic solvent composition containing at least a binder resin and a colorant in an organic solvent, in an aqueous medium; and an organic solvent-removing step of maintaining the obtained emulsified and dispersed liquid under evacuated conditions and bringing the emulsified and dispersed liquid into direct contact with evacuated water vapor to remove the organic solvent. |
