PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus which can suppress air current disturbance that occurs between a recording head and a recording medium, and can suppress the unevenness of density caused by mask patterns, and to provide an ink jet recording method.SOLUTION: Recording is carried out in such a way that a high recording ratio region and a low recording ratio region are alternated at each pixel in a nozzle array direction in a recording result by two-pass recording. Moreover, recording is carried out with a width enough for air currents to pass between the high recording ratio regions in recording. |
