PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter type oil/water separator which is able to adsorb and filtrate fine emulsified oil contained in a target liquid, e.g. bilge water, efficiently by demulsifying the emulsified oil to form oil droplets, allows miniaturization of the whole of related equipment and installation in a narrow place and prolonged use and is suitable for treatment of e.g. bilge water of small ships.SOLUTION: One or more ion-eluting substances 10 which elute calcium, magnesium, aluminum and/or ion ions to exert demulsifying action is charged into a clearance 9 of a cartridge filter, with a part of the clearance left for water passing, so that emulsified oil contained in e.g. bilge water can be demulsified, adsorbed and filtrated. |
