PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure for connecting mats for covering a construction surface, which easily provides a two-piece mat or a four-piece mat by easily cutting off a mat on a vertical centerline or a lateral centerline, or lines parallel to these lines without interfering with the connectors of the mats.SOLUTION: This connection structure for connecting mats for covering a construction surface includes connection bars 5 extending between the corner-forming sides 3' 4' of a square mat 1 for covering a construction surface. First and second connection joints 6, 7 are provided to the respective ends of the connection bar 5. The first connection joint 6 is disposed at the corner-formation side 3', and the second connection joint 7 is disposed at the corner-formation side 4'. A connector 8 formed by the connection bar 5 and the first and second connection joints 6, 7 is disposed in a square compartment area partitioned by the lateral centerline C2 and the vertical centerline C1 of the mat 1 for covering a construction surface, and the mat 1 for covering a construction surface is connected to the adjacent mat 1 for covering a construction surface by the first and second connection joints 6, 7. |
