PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in the adjustment of the length of legs in the leg structure of furniture which permits the length of the legs to be adjusted so as to adjust the height position of the furniture.SOLUTION: When a rotating lever 55 presses a butting ball 52 at a pressing position T1, the butting ball 52 presses a portion 43 to be pressed in a state of fitting into the portion 43 to be pressed. Thereby, an inner cylinder 41 in an inserted condition can be pressed against and fixed to an outer cylinder 31. Conversely, when the rotating lever 55 releases the pressing of the butting ball 52 at a pressing releasing position, the butting ball 52 gets out from inside the outer cylinder 31 to outside the outer cylinder 31 through a through window 33. Consequently, the inner cylinder 41 in the inserted condition can be turned into a movable condition where there is nothing regulating it to the outer cylinder 31. Here, the switching of the rotating lever 55 between the pressing position T1 and the pressing releasing position is carried out by depressingly rotating or upliftingly rotating it like a lever operation. |
