PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid ejection device easy to be configured and providing a desired drive signal.SOLUTION: A drive waveform signal WCOM is pulse-modulated by a modulator circuit 26, the modulated signal is power-amplified by a digital power amplifying circuit 28, and the power-amplified modulated signal is smoothed by a smoothing filter 29 to be supplied to an actuator 22 as the drive signal COM. In such a case, in the anterior stage of the modulator circuit 26, an inverse filter circuit 24 correcting frequency characteristic of the filter composed at least of the smoothing filter 29 and the capacitance of the actuator 22, is equipped. A connection state of a delay device 31 is switched by a first switch 35 and a second switch 36 included in the inverse filter circuit 24, to switch the transmission characteristic of the inverse filter circuit 24 between phase lead characteristics and phase delay characteristics, so that the circuit scale of the inverse filter circuit is reduced. |
