PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which enhances the coupling work efficiency of a working rod with a reclining mechanism, without sacrificing a rapid load transmission via a reinforcing pipe during a side impact.SOLUTION: Reclining mechanisms 40 are provided on right and left side frames 13c, and the reclining mechanisms 40 are interlockingly connected to each other by a working rod 52. A reinforcing pipe 15 is arranged around the working rod 52, and during a side impact, the load is transmitted from one side frame 13c to the other side frame via the reinforcing pipe 15. A collar member 53 is mounted on the end in the axial direction of the reinforcing pipe 15. The collar member 53 has a fitting wall 23 to be fitted to the outer circumferential surface of the reinforcing pipe 15, and an abutting wall 25 with the end face of the reinforcing pipe 15 abutted thereon. |
