PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer sheet feeding method in which a design containing a straight line in the longitudinal direction is transferred without being distorted, in the manufacture of a long-size material.SOLUTION: In the transfer sheet feeding method, a transfer sheet feeding device provided with a front bulk-swelling member 46 and a back bulk-swelling member 47 is used. First, a continuous transfer sheet 11 is arranged on a cavity 43 in contact with the front bulk-swelling member 46 and the back bulk-swelling member 47. Subsequently, a front tension applying member 55 and a back tension applying member 56 are pressed against a mold (A) 41 side to apply a tension to the continuous transfer sheet 11. Therein, front and back areas of the design are pressed against a secondary part surface 44 of the mold (A) and are clamped. Further, a space between the continuous transfer sheet and the cavity surface of the mold (A) is vacuumed and the design is adhered to the cavity surface 45 of the mold (A). |
