PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a coating film which can achieve both chipping resistance and reduction in weight (low specific gravity), and exhibits a coating film performance such as chipping resistance even in normal temperature drying.SOLUTION: A water-based coating composition for chipping resistance contains aqueous resin emulsion, balsam-like rosin ester, and a hollow filler. Low specific gravity of a coating film is enabled by the hollow filler, flexibility (elongation) of the coating film can be improved by the balsam-like rosin ester, and excellent chipping resistance can be secured.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
