PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair capable of simplifying an operation system and reducing the number of components by causing an operation system for adjusting reaction force between a support structure and a backrest and an operation system for locking tilting of the backrest to be shared.SOLUTION: There are provided: a pivot 10 joined to a support structure; an inner cylinder 12 joined to a backrest; and an external cylinder 14 arranged outside the inner cylinder 12. The pivot 10 and the inner cylinder 12 are joined by a first rubber-like elastic member 11, and the inner cylinder 12 and the external cylinder 14 are joined by a second rubber-like elastic member 13. An operation pin 19 is retractably and displaceably held on the side of the support structure. By engaging the operation pin 19 with the inner cylinder 12, tilting of the backrest is locked. The reaction force by the rubber-like elastic member is adjusted depending on whether or not to engage the operation pin 19 with the external cylinder 14 without engaging the operation pin with the inner cylinder 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
