PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently extracting RNA from a small amount of specimen on which attention has not been focused as a raw material for extracting RNA.SOLUTION: An RNA extraction method for obtaining an RNA refined body from a bone surface includes: a step (1) of obtaining bone fine particles of a bone surface from a bone fine particle-containing suspension by sucking the bone fine particle-containing suspension through a filter which contains the bone fine particles of the bone surface which has been drilled out and become fine particles; a step (2) of obtaining an RNA-containing defatted component by removing fat from the bone fine particles of the bone surface obtained in the step (1); and a step (3) of obtaining an RNA refined body by refining the RNA-containing defatted component obtained by removing fat from the bone fine particles in the step (2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
