A method, comprising: providing an imaging device operatively connected to an intracranial pressure estimation component that comprises a processor; operating the imaging device so as to obtain optic nerve sheath diameter information and blood velocity information from a periocular blood vessel of a subject; outputting the optic nerve sheath diameter information and blood velocity information to the intracranial pressure estimation component; and executing instructions on the processor of the intracranial pressure estimation component, the instructions including receiving the optic nerve sheath diameter information and blood velocity information, estimating an intracranial pressure of the subject based on a mathematical combination of the optic nerve sheath diameter information and blood velocity information, and outputting the estimate of the intracranial pressure of the subject.
