PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination method for predicting an immunological disease, and to provide a method for screening a medicine for preventing or treating immunological disease.SOLUTION: The examination method comprises analyzing the single nucleotide polymorphism of a base existing on IBTK gene or a base in linkage disequilibrium to the base, and then examining an immunological disease on the basis of the analysis result. Or, the examination method comprises measuring the expression amount of the mRNA or protein of IBTK gene long form and then examining the immunological disease on the basis of the measurement result. The method for screening a medicine for preventing or treating the immunological disease includes a process for selecting a substance for changing the expression amount of the IBTK gene long form.
