PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide building materials which decomposes toxic gas sufficiently while preventing a basic material from being deteriorated for a long time.SOLUTION: This building material includes the basic material, an intermediate layer provided on the basic material, and a photocatalytic layer provided on the intermediate layer. The photocatalytic layer contains photocatalytic particles formed of metal oxide being excited by ultraviolet rays, and the intermediate layer contains a weatherproof resin and a hydroxyphenyltriazine compound. Preferably, these building materials are used while being exposed to sunlight. |
