PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer golf ball including a hard, high compression center, a relatively soft intermediate layer, and a stiff outer cover layer.SOLUTION: The outer surface hardness of the intermediate layer is less than the outer surface hardness of both the center and the outer cover layer. The center is composed of a polybutadiene composition. The intermediate layer is composed of an ionomer composition, a polyurea composition or the like. The outer surface hardness is, for example, 45 or less in Shore D hardness. The outer cover is composed of an ionomer composition whose Shore D hardness is at least 60. |
