PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable composition exhibiting a viscosity suitable for good impregnation to a substrate and having improved effectiveness for removal or washing of cosmetics (by incorporation of an oil at a high level).SOLUTION: The cosmetic product contains (A) a water-insoluble substrate containing one or more layers and (B) an oil phase dispersed in an aqueous phase containing at least one thickening polymer selected from (i) a copolymer produced by polymerization of (a) at least one monomer selected from carboxylic acids having α, β-ethylenic unsaturation and their esters and (b) at least one monomer having ethylenic unsaturation and containing a hydrophobic group and (ii) a polymer containing at least one monomer having a sulfo group, and at least one inulin modified with a hydrophobic chain, wherein the oil phase is added to or impregnated in the substrate in a form of an O/W-emulsion. The product is concretely usable as a constitution element of a wipe to be used for treating especially skin and/or hair and/or washing and/or removing cosmetics from the skin. |
