PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance magnetic circuit efficiency, to downsize a product, and to achieve high output by efficiently modifying the local magnetic characteristics of a steel material for a magnetic circuit to be used for the stator and the rotor of a motor, a solenoid valve, an inductor or the like.SOLUTION: In a method for forming an area with improved magnetic characteristics on a steel material, an ink for non-magnetization containing a metal for non-magnetization or an ink for high magnetic flux density containing metal for high magnetic flux density is locally coated on a steel material, and the steel material is heated to make the metal in the ink to be melt-alloyed with Fe in the steel material. Local non-magnetization or high magnetic flux density of the steel material is thus achieved. |
