PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deviation in printing between a preceding nozzle train and a following nozzle train when printing by arranging a plurality of nozzle trains at different positions in a recording medium conveying direction.SOLUTION: Nozzle train groups 23a and 23b are constituted by arranging a plurality of nozzle trains (2-1a, 2-2a, 2-1b and 2-2b) at different positions in a relative conveying direction to a printing medium 1. The plurality of nozzle train groups 23a and 23b are arranged in a direction crossing the conveying direction. The individual nozzle trains (2-1a, 2-2a, 2-1b and 2-2b) in the nozzle train groups 23a and 23b eject recording material to the printing medium 1 from a plurality of nozzles arranged along in the direction crossing the conveying direction. The printer includes a means (10) configured to adjust angles of at least one nozzle train in each of the nozzle train groups 23a and 23b in a nozzle arranging direction and the conveying direction based on an expansion coefficient of the printing medium 1, and a means configured to move at least a part of the nozzle train groups 23a and 23b in the direction crossing the conveying direction. |
