The axle i.e. twist-beam rear axle (1), has a semi-trailing arms (3) rotatably moved at axle bearings (4). A carrier e.g. transverse carrier or axle carrier (2), is connected with the semi-trailing arms, and wheel carriers (5) are arranged at the semi-trailing arms. Vehicle wheels are rotatably mounted at the wheel carriers. The wheel carriers are rotatably mounted at the semi-trailing arms around a drag axis (S2), and steering wheels are connected on the wheel carriers and on an actuator (6) for rotating the wheel carriers around the drag axis.
