PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein the electrical-resistance loss of a rotor conductor and an end ring is increased and efficiency is deteriorated due to the long length of the rotor conductor and the concentration of a current, in the connection of the rotor conductor and the end ring in the cage-type induction motor regarding the jointing shapes of the rotor conductor and the end ring and the sizes of an electromagnetic steel plate and an end plate in the cage-type induction motor.SOLUTION: The cage-type induction motor includes a rotor core, a large number of rotor slots installed at intervals near the outer periphery of the rotor core, rotor conductors embedded into these rotor slots, and end rings mounted on both ends of the rotor core. In the cage-type induction motor, the rotor core is configured to mount the end plates at both ends of the electromagnetic steel plate, and the area of the rotor slot is larger than the electromagnetic steel plate in the end plate. |
