PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method wherein it is possible to suppress erroneously determining a simply heavy load as lock at rotor lock detection.SOLUTION: A motor controller detects the rotation speed of the rotor of a motor and controls the rotation speed based on the detection value of rotation speed and a target value for rotation speed. In this motor controller, rotor lock is detected by this method as follows: when a value R1 as a detection value of the rotor is lower than a value R2 as a target value, the target value is changed from the value R1 to a value R3 lower by a predetermined value S0 than the value R1, and when the detection value of rotation speed does not thereafter follow the target value, it is determined that the rotor is in a locked state. |
