PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniquely detect a rotor angle by a simple configuration equipped with only a single linear-type Hall sensor.SOLUTION: A rotor angle position detecting section 162 of a motor controller determines a rotation direction of a rotor 7 from the temporal relation between a time point, when an analog voltage corresponding to the magnitude of a rotor field outputted from the linear type hall sensor 5a is the maximum or minimum and a time, when N- or S-pole of the rotor 7 is detected by a switching-type Hall sensor 5b, and selects a correct rotor angle from among obtained two rotor angles, on the basis of the rotation direction and an analog voltage outputted from the hall sensor 5a. Thus, the rotor angle can be detected uniquely by a simple configuration equipped with only a single expensive linear-type Hall sensor and a single low-cost switching-type Hall sensor. |
