PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system, which shortens time to starting the image formation on a new continuous recording medium next time after finishing postprocessing on a continuous recording medium this time.SOLUTION: This image forming system includes a preprocessing machine, an image forming device, a postprocessing machine, an acquiring means for acquiring a carrying starting request for the recording medium when not acquiring the effect of completing a preparation for starting postprocessing of the next time though acquiring the effect of finishing the postprocessing this time output from the postprocessing machine, and a permitting means for permitting carrying of the recording medium to the preprocessing machine and the image forming device when the carrying starting request is acquired by the acquiring means. |
