PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power saving in a display circuit of electronic equipment.SOLUTION: A display driver 201 detects that the transition of a display circuit including a GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) 116 to a power saving mode is possible according to processing on an application program 202, for example, the start processing of the application program by a processing detection part 501. When it is detected that the transition of the display circuit to the power saving mode is possible, a power saving mode setting part 502 sets the power saving mode to the display circuit, and decreases power consumption by decreasing the operating frequency of the GPU 116. |
