PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device which is safely removed by a simple operation, and which is improved in convenience when reused before removed.SOLUTION: A USB hardware disk 20 connected to a personal computer includes a disk 32, a cache memory 34, a depression button 42, and an LED 44. When the depression button 42 is depressed, data stored in the cache memory 34 are written in a disk 32, so that it is possible to physically synchronize a disk and a cache, and that even when a USB hard disk 20 is removed, it is possible to maintain data without performing any unmount operation. Thus, it is possible to continuously use the disk as it is, because of not performing any unmount operation. |
