PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for a battery case cover, which shows more excellent weld cracking resistance than a conventional pure-aluminum-based material, when being laser welded.SOLUTION: This aluminum alloy sheet comprises 0.4-2.0% Si (by mass%, hereinafter the same), 0.5-1.5% Fe and the balance Al with unavoidable impurities, and has a ratio (Si/Fe) of an Si content to an Fe content of 0.8-2.0. Furthermore, the aluminum alloy sheet preferably includes 0.005-0.15% Ti and 5-500 ppm B. |
