PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating tool capable of coping with a coating material having any viscosity from low to high and improving coating speed, and to provide a coating method using the same.SOLUTION: The coating tool is detachably connected to a supply member 5 to which the coating material is supplied by the work of a compressed gas and is provided with a body having a flow path through which the coating material supplied from the supply member 5 flows, a plurality of discharge nozzles 63a-63c branched from the flow path, and a brush 62 formed by bundling many furs and attached to the body to house the plurality of discharge nozzles 63a-63c branched from the flow path, and is constituted so that the discharge quantity of the coating material from the discharge nozzle 63a farthest from the supply member 5 in the plurality of discharge nozzles 63a-63c is more than the discharge quantity of the coating material from the discharge nozzle 63c nearest to the supply member 5.
