PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knit wear with a shoulder part extending from a sleeve top and capable of setting an inclination angle in accordance with a paper pattern by a flat-knitting frame to solve a problem of difficulty in getting an angle in a case of necessitating an inclination angle in accordance with the paper pattern because the inclination angle of the shoulder part is formed by a combination of a decreasing stitch process such as a single stitch decrease and a double stitch decrease for setting the inclination angle of the shoulder part; and to provide a method for knitting the wear.SOLUTION: The knit wear with the shoulder part extending from the sleeve top and placed between the final stitches of the front body and the back body is knitted by using the flat-knitting frame wherein at least one of a front needle bed and a back needle bed can be racked. The knitting process includes: a step for forming the front body and the back body to the final stitch after forming the sleeve top; a step to perform, subsequent to the former step, a fold knitting continuous to the stitch of a sleeve cap engaged with the needle bed; and a step for joining a stitch near an arbitrary knitting course end of the fold knit to the end stitches of the front and back bodies. |
