PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which is excellent in flowability and provides a molded article having excellent impact resistance and appearance, and to provide a method for producing the thermoplastic resin composition, by which the thermoplastic resin composition is produced with good productivity.SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition includes: a powdery or granular A-B type block copolymer constituted of an A-segment comprising a vinyl-based polymer having a glass transition temperature of -60 to -20°C and a B-segment comprising a vinyl-based polymer having a glass transition temperature of 50 to 130°C; and a thermoplastic resin. The contents of the A-B type block copolymer and the thermoplastic resin are set to be 0.1-90 mass% and 10-99.9 mass%, respectively, based on the total amount of the A-B type block copolymer and the thermoplastic resin. Further, the value of the solubility parameter (SP value) of the thermoplastic resin is 8.5-14.5. |
