PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which has a cover member for functioning as a cover for blocking a manual feed paper feeding port when closing, and guides a recording object medium in the carrying direction over a long distance when opening.SOLUTION: The cover member 21 comprises a member longer in a dimension in one direction than a dimension in the direction orthogonal to the one direction. When closing the cover member 21, the cover member moves to a position where the direction extending in the longitudinal direction of the manual feed paper feeding port 12 coincides with the one direction, and becomes a state covering the manual feed paper feeding port 12 (see, Fig.1(a)). While, when opening the cover member 21, the cover member moves to a position where the inserting direction of the recording object medium to the manual feed paper feeding port 12 coincides with the one direction, and becomes a state functioning as a guide guiding the recording object medium to the manual feed paper feeding port 12 in the one direction (see, Fig.1(b)). |
